You may think you know what a youth club does, but we do it differently.
The Magic Club is a Registered Charity (1178232) working with Young People in Claremont, Blackpool and the surrounding areas.
We opened in 2018 and have welcomed hundreds of young people through our doors, providing high quality youth work, safe spaces, trusted adults and a whole lot of fun!
We are proud to call Claremont our home; with an incredible community, amazing young people and brilliant partner organisations, we know together we can make it an even better place for young people to thrive.
But for some growing up in Claremont, life can sometimes feel tough. Young people here face many more barriers than those in other areas. Whether this is due to low incomes, caring responsibilities, poor mental health or anything and everything in between, we are working to ensure that every young person in Claremont has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.
From club sessions to residentials and qualifications to volunteering, we offer a huge range of activities for our members to increase their confidence, learn new skills, make new friends and have a huge amount of fun.
In addition to our Club based work we are also developing our plans with young people make a difference to the Claremont community. We want to make Claremont a brilliant place for all young people to live, work and play.
We run clubs four times per week in term time for different age groups; Year 3-Year 6, Year 7-8 and Year 9-11. In school holidays we have a full programme of activities, trips and projects for members to get involved in.
You can find out more about our activities here.
Our membership is open to all young people in Year 3-Year 11, who live in Claremont or the surrounding areas. All of our club sessions, activities, trips and residentials are free of charge, and we can provide personal kit if it is needed.
